I wouldn’t have been disappointed with Golesh here. The news that he rejected Florida, only to end up at Auburn, has got to sting some of the Gator fans. Time will tell though.

If I was placing money on the best hire / contract for the year, Auburn would not have been my pick.

Cohen got it done, didn’t think he had it in him.

Damn. Auburn should be excited. Golesh is absolutely the real deal. He’ll give that program some much needed stability.

Golesh was the architect behind the Vols breakout year in 22. Offense hasn’t been the same since he left. Great hire by Auburn.

I hope in a couple years LSU doesn't regret this. I liked a couple names out there that wouldn't break the bank and Golesh was one of them. I like the Kiffin hire, but will wonder how Golesh could've done.

That feels underwhelming. 23-15 through 3 years doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

USF was 4-26 before he was hired. His offenses are gonna be good. This was my choice after Lane. If you don’t hire the big fish, hire the up and comer for cheap with incentives. You can cut bait in 3 years if it doesn’t work out and not break the bank.

Ultimately Freeze couldn't get it done but they definitely have talent. They aren't far off.

I think they will be relevant next year as long as they can keep their best players and grab a few more.

Im on board with this hire. I honestly dont know a lot about the Russian other than the stats but the people around here in Tampa love him.

Certainly a good hire for us with how we have handled these things in the past
