What came first canes, zaxbys, guthrie's or abners?

Pretty sure Todd Graves worked at Guthries while in grad school before he started Canes

He did but it was Undergrad while in Athens.

Their chicken fingers remind me of the GOAT, but now out of business due to Cane's ... Bailey's on the corner of Lee and Highland Road in Baton Rouge.

Guthrie’s had to be first, Auburn Veterinary School was a huge customer for me in 1998 and I was introduced to them when working in that city. We had one in Knoxville in 2005 but it closed likely due to sky high rent being on Cumberland Ave.

Have had Abner’s too and I like Guthrie/Canes better maybe it was the hype around Abner’s that it did not live up? It is just chicken tenders but they can be gross when all the connective tissue is still attached like the ones at Publix..
