If no decision today OM most likely extended the deadline. Do we wait?

He may be ok with Kiffin coaching in the playoffs but he won’t be ok waiting for Kiffin to sign a contract.

If Lane won’t pull the trigger, you have to move on. It’ll work out.

I’m not even stressing. I hope he gets to coach them a few more weeks so he comes to us with a clear head.

When did Verge say that?

That would be imbecilic beyond measure.

There is no way to force Kiffin to honor his word. He could coach the playoffs while LSU languishes and then decide to remain at Ole MIss.

Risky and dumb.

Only if you have some kind of binding deal in place with penalties for ultimately not coming.

But Lane is coming, it’s just a matter of if Ole Miss lets him coach the playoffs or not.

He said it during an interview with Moscana I believe. The same interview where he talked about Saban.

This. I dont care if we have to "sacrifice " next season. Let's get our guy and go on a Saban at Alabama type run

Hopefully, they know he’s coming for sure if they wait through the playoffs. Lane will need to pull off a great transfer class to have a decent team.
