That was a touch back. He clearly lost it and then stepped out of bounds

Not sure how they call that a TD. Even if you argue he regained possession after crossing the goal line his foot was already out of bounds.

They brought in a lot of the old Pac12 refs to really put the cherry on the top

B1G has to protect their boy OSU

I am not want to bitch about the refs, but that was obviously a touchback and Michigan ball

I think Jeremiah thinks he fumbled it not very confident look

He never lost full control of the ball. You guys are assessing this like it’s a catch and bobble. He was running with it well after the catch, had it in his possession the entire time, repinned it tight in the air over the plane.

Yeah all the ball has to do is cross the goal line, he doesn't need a foot in the endzone, he had it before and bobbled it in the endzone.

He never lost possession of the ball. Had his hands on it entire time. Ball can move while you’re running with it. It’s not a fumble until you lose possession.

Yes there are two scenarios where it's a TD and neither happened.
He either breaks the plane before losing possession, that clearly didn't happen.
Or he recovers the ball in the end zone before going out of bounds.
That also didn't happen.

Terrible call. Michigan got screwed.

Do you people even watch football?
The catch was secured, so all he had to do was cross the plane
It didnt matter where his foot landed, just where he crosses the plane. He was in bounds when he crossed the plane, where his foot landed means nothing at that point. The bobble means nothing. Its like when a runner stretches out the ball to cross the plane. The fact that his entire body is outside the EZ, or that a defender knocks the ball loose. Once he crosses the plane, the play is over. Nothing past that point matters
Unless you also believe a guy that lays out in the EZ to making a diving catch, isnt a catch because the ball is outside the white lines when secured??

Oh got comped a TD. Dude didn’t possess the ball when he crossed the goal line and stepped out of bounds when he did gain control.

Lots of low t people in this thread.

I know, the Buckeyes are getting screwed

I don’t see how a reply ref could make that mistake nor how the announcers are quiet about. Game seems over now
