Summery video posted, go find full Rogan / Elon interview if you wish.
In short, more & more money is being fleeced off of the tax payers and the homeless situation is only getting worse, not better.
"But it would be much worse if nobody cared, right?"
No, it would shrink down to a small fraction of what it is today. Less money would go a long way to solve the problem.

Can you just post the clip and not some jabroni breaking down Elon and Rogan talking

Yes, I can.
But I won't.
Don't be a dick. People get tired of the links you post where people talk about the subject at hand instead of you just posting the original source videos. No one wants to hear some C.H.U.D. ramble on for 30 minutes about a five minute video.

The unfortunate reality is that most programs simply enable the behavior and the only mass level program that works is simply not giving them anything. We are an empathetic society but that same ideal isn’t sustainable when you simply fund their existence.

All that money has been laundered to politicians

Video is 18 minutes.
I clearly stated if you wanted Rogan's 3 hour long podcast vid, seek it yourself. (Most of his stuff tends to be long winded, thus the far shorter explanatory vid here)
I also gave a brief description, unlike what OTHERS have done on this board.
Joe Rogan Experience Full video 3hr 18 minutes
you're welcome

The very same groups and people who accused the CIA of funneling drugs into the inner cities back in the 80's and pocketing the money are doing it with the homeless scam today.

No doubt. My dad would tell us this as kids.
One of my sisters started getting all the feels over stuff like this back in HS. He took her on a day trip into the city. Picked up some food, and they sat in a parking lot watching some "homeless" panhandling. Sat long enough to catch the "shift change.". Begger they had been watching for a few hours leaving in a Cadillac. The new one pulled up in a pickup.
That sister changed her view after that. Still the one that leans a tad left in things, but not as naive as she was heading towards.
Tldr.... homeless want to be homeless or your neighbors making bank begging in the inner city. (Apparently my dad knew a guy in town that would drive into the city and that corner was one his spots, but wasn't there that day)

Everything stuns Joe Rogan. It's like watching a child as they are being driven up to a McDonalds.

Homelessness is a choice for many, and for those who it is not, no amount of government “assistance” will help them other than institutionalization

Same thing with racism, same thing with cancer, same thing with diabetes, same thing with everything else. It just goes on and on, and people make money off of other people’s misery.

He isnt stunned. The San Fransicko author had been there a couple times going over that

Yeah, he should just roll his eyes and say "yeah, yeah, I've heard it all before, Elon".
No, he's gathering info and reacting to info. When different people from different backgrounds give confirming reports, you go with it and react as he did. But sure, comment on Joe's 'acting' surprised because that's what's really important here.

It is completely the context of that type of video. I actively avoid ones that look like that

Really weird that you're focusing on Rogan and not the issue being discussed.

He has never prepped for a show in his life. I'm sure those reactions are genuine its the first time he has heard about whatever the topic is.
