Is Brian Kelly the most despised former head coach in LSU's history?

Brian is and always has been a fraud. Too many people refused to believe that until it was too late. I said when he was hired it was a mistake but was told I don't know shite. Well.... I saved room for you all on the Brian Kelly is a fraud train and now you all jumped on except a few like Jimtiger72.

I felt the same since they announced his hiring! ... and then came his introduction.

Kelly is without a doubt the biggest BUM ever to hold the title of Head football coach at LSU.

The other coaches that failed just weren’t good coaches. Kelly never took ownership of anything while at LSU.

Kelly is a Moron…a wealthy one.

O was more polarizing. The FB Moms and Coonass “he talks like us” crowd loved him, others recognized that his longterm track record as a HC was poor.

I’m not sure anyone genuinely liked BK. He’s an unlikeable dude that most would have accommodated had he not retired in place two years ago.

I’m just angry because he clearly checked out. He had no fire. But he kept collecting that check. Pompous arse talking about alignment and the Path while hanging out at the beach and drinking all week. *allegedly*

I agree...Curly Hallman was probably the worst. I have never seen such personal hatred of Brian Kelly. I think it is total nonsense! DId he run over everyone's dog or something? Jesus! What I WILL say is that Kelly like ALL coaches promise the "team will be in the playoffs" and didn't deliver. But who doesn't say that? Hugh Freeze said "we have a team that should contend for the playoffs" talking about Auburn THIS season. They won't even make a bowl game. Of course he got fired also.

The one that was REALLY fool's gold was Hallman. LSU got fooled by his upsets at USM that were completely due to a guy named Brett Favre.

Curley. Early 90s were the worst time for LSU football. At least BK had a Heisman under his watch and a respectable W/L record. Curley was awful.
