I don’t think Bowers has access to this info. The fact that he’s such a loud booster tells me he probably doesn’t get told much from people on the inside.

He's dumb- typo. I think he means Lane hasn't quit or signed anything so they cant make a paper offer to anyone else yet. This is probably very frustrating to a man who made a living in an industry notorious for sketchy contracts
