I’m pretty sure it’s because some groups calling themselves the Cajun Navy are not really what it’s about. The Cajun Navy is just a term used to describe Louisiana people who help people in floods with their specialized boats that are able to go in shallow waters like swamps and use them in flooded streets. It didn’t start out as a specific identifiable group. It’s a term for what Louisiana people do to help each other when it floods. Since it floods a lot in Louisiana, people get good at search and rescue with floods. The idea then branched out to helping people in other States with floods.

Some people took the term and have abused it. Thus, the hate for Cajun Navy groups. Some are good though.

Cajun Navy Inc, Cajun Navy LLC, Cajun Navy Co, so many of them. Which one saves the people first and which one calls the TV station so they can be seen saving people?
