He never finished higher than 5th in B12 standings. He had 2 winning seasons 7-6 and 8-5. His conf record was 19-35.
Lane has less conf losses in 6 years than Kliff had wins. His conf record is 31-17.
So yeah Lane is better by a country mile and it isn’t even close.

I kind of agree w u. Lane isn’t some homerun hire by ANY means. Hes the best in a bad crop of candidates this cycle. Nowhere near as impressive as Riley was in 2021. BUT he’s a much better coach than Kingsbury

Because he had shitty defenses.
Wouldn’t be an issue at a place like LSU or UF
