I know he’s been in the witness protection program on offense all year but that dude absolutely gave one thousand percent on punt coverage. Since we punt so much he had to be exhausted with how many times he was hauling arse down the field to be right on the returner when he caught the ball. Well done Chris.

Victim of a historically bad Oline and an injured QB.
A pro team will take a flyer on him.

I think the entire Rant, even the psychos, had great hope for Hilton. Sometimes our efforts don’t hit the mark…yet. Wish the best for him.

Honestly, I didn't even know he was still on the team. With those disappearing skills, he could make a lot of money in Vegas.

Special teams might have to be his ticket to the nfl
That’s good for him to put on tape as he tries to make a roster
I still think his speed will get him drafted late rounds
Plenty of teams will think they can fix him

Victim of…injured QB

It seemed to me that LSU was loaded with NFL prospects at the receiver position this year via both regular recruiting and the portal. The assumption was that they would benefit from a QB with a pro level arm and talent. They expected to display their respective abilities to their own future benefit. Remember that as late as the weekend of the Ole Miss game, LSU’s QB was the leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy. Then, the bottom fell out, reality struck, and a few of these receivers tired of being under thrown, overthrown, or not seen seem to have given up.

He will do well at workouts and combines and a team will pick him up. This QB has robbed him of showcasing his skills

He's just fast. Has cinder blocks for hands. Can't high point the football.

A lot of us noticed Hilton’s efforts on ST coverage and were glad to see it. We have also seen poor effort, poor execution and pouting this year from him. He has great potential. But until his head gets screwed on, it shall forever remain potential.

He’s the victim of unearned hype. He’s never done a damn thing at LSU but has been lauded for his speed. He has zero clue how to play WR.

Absolutely! He has had trouble catching in traffic this year but damn he has the speed to get behind anyone and we never got the ball even close to him in stride this year.
He lined up outside last night on a good down to take a deep shot so I focused on him and sure enough he was running free on a skinny post. MVB opted to throw it short into triple coverage… incomplete.

I will always remember him for catching a touchdown bomb in Texas bowl on the last play of the game. Tigers were beaten badly that night but I am glad I stayed to the end to see that beautiful play

Reminds me a bit of Russell Shepard. Not many thought he’d make it to the NFL given jet sweeps were his only film worthy plays. However, because of his willingness to play special teams, Shepard played several years in the NFL
