Such ignorance, but the sad thing is many many people don’t know what the frick they’re talking about just like you.
His contract states he is supposed to get $800,000 monthly payments until 2031. The lump sum that they’re negotiating is a one time payment upfront instead of waiting 6 years for the entire payment. It works much like someone winning the powerball where you can get annuity payments over many years or a lump sum that amounts to around half of the total amount. At least look shite up before you talk out of your arse.
