and I too would be one of those who have been complaining for years, so what are we gonna do about it?

It seems every time we think we have identified the politicians who will go to DC and make some noise for real change they disappoint. What we see over time is most of these "conservative" politicians assimilate into the DC Uniparty Globalist system and they continue the grift and theft from the American people.

I'm not ready to hand the nation over to the socialists/cultural Marxists/communists but it seems the so-called "conservatives" who the American people elect to Congress, in hopes of thwarting the Fundamental Transition of America into a Cultural Marxist shite hole nation are not up for the task.

There has to be a better way, isn't there?

Nothing. It’s broken, corrupt and cannot be fixed.

Frick it then, I'm buying 100 acres around the Mark Twain Forest in south central Missouri and hanging a sign on the lane leading up to the homestead that reads,

"If I don't know you or have invited you to the house....do not come up the damn lane!!!!!"

DC works just fine….for the politicians.

Don’t ever expect an overwhelming desire to truly change a system that benefits them so greatly.

They’ll feed all of us red meat sound bites and throw a few pork barrel projects at their home constituencies so that voters know “they’re working hard” on their behalf.

It’s a hell of a racket.

You could go down on any street corner and do a 3 question poll with 100 random people asking these 3 questions.

1) Should there be congressional term limits?
2) Should members of Congress be banned from buying/trading stocks?
3) Should congress pass legislation severely restricting corporate lobbying?

80-90% of Americans would answer yes to those three poll questions but Congress would never amend the constitution or pass the necessary legislation to make the demands of the American people the law.

These plus we should have public funded elections. Everyone gets the same amount of funds and no additional contributions.

Just an FYI. The GOP losing Congress after the midterms a feature not a flaw. A uniparty feature.

This ends when the government collapses under its own weight and a reset occurs. Nobody is going to fix it.

Maybe part of the problem is our collective idealism and naivete. We're all part Jimmy Stewart, hoping eternal good prevails. This system as it evolved after 1913 was never designed to help America become "great"; it was designed to be plundered of wealth, fail and break. And....here we are.

Been saying this for years, particularly with regards to federal elections, same with equal media coverage. Take the corporate and big donor money out of politics. That's why congressional term limits are needed because once a person is elected to Congress the big donors keep them in Congress.
