BK wanted to fire him after last season, but Scott Woodfiredward stepped in and prevented that from happening. Davis is probably the worst Assistant Position Coach in LSU football history. (Hired by Orgeron) 
They could've had Mawae step in to finish the season with assistance from the GA from Tennessee. (Or Whitworth) I'm glad this abomination is about to end.
