of always wandering when they will be back? they haven't gotten their yet I guess since they were undefeated just a couple years ago but it seems like they are headed down that path. I feel like FSU doesn't even exist once they start losing. 90's Noles were so DOPE

Nebraska is never going to be an elite program again. FSU and Miami are in Florida so therefore never say never on them.

FSU won the NC in 2013 and were undefeated just a couple years ago. They’re never far away from being good again, unlike Nebraska.

Florida teams don't have to venture far out of their territories for talent.

If the ACC stays the same then no. When they're on only two teams in the conference that can acquire talent at their level. Problem is their current coach is rolling the dice every offseason in talent acquisition.

Dumb take, Miami is an upset away from being in the playoffs this year.

What's extremely alarming is FSU is losing in an already terrible ACC

The only common thread among them (and Tennessee to boot) is simply making piss poor, awful hires. There's nothing inherently "wrong" with any of those programs, as evidenced by their absolute white hot star shining at some point within the last 40 years.

Get an elite rock star coach at any of those schools, with an admin that is supportive of NIL, and in 2 years you're back in playoff contention.
