Just started Sons of Anarchy for the first time does Jacks' mom get any less insufferable?

Formerly known as Peggy Bundy. Show is decent so far, but she's the worst part by far. Just want to figure out if this is the whole show. I'm 2 episodes into season 1.

No. I think she may ramp it up. I tried to rewatch about a year ago and didn’t make it far.

In general it gets better but it's scattered and if you don't remember past shows, you're kinda lost. Binging helps. It was great when it first aired, when that style of movies first came out.

I was a huge fan of The Shield. I should have been the target audience for SOA. I watched the pilot and "noped" out.
