The “I can’t wait! Move on to #2!” crowd…

There is no reason to announce before Egg Bowl. Relax
Both universities likely know the outcome already. Next Saturday still gets the splash hire before the portal opening and signing day. It allows Kiffin to finish the regular season and get his current team into the playoffs before departing.
So…everyone that needs to know likely knows. If not knowing yet for yourself, as a random fan, gives you anxiety, or offends your schedule, or something and because of that you would have LSU take a lesser option…I genuinely hope you have someone more stable make all of you important decisions.
