Money men not gonna be happy if they somehow drop next weeks game and you allowed Kiffin to stick around to coach it despite not being fully committed.

You had the bye week to work tho out and you couldn’t do it. That means you gotta walk.

It’s bad for morale.

I definitely wouldn't be shocked if this costs Keith Carter his job. Depends how it plays out

Ole Miss would get over it pretty quick if he stays.

Ya man. They look pathetic right now. I’d be pissed if I was an Ole Miss fan.

Technically you can. It may hurt but sometimes you gotta just rip the bandaid off, and save face.

Right now the are sitting in the cuck chair watching Lane bang other broads

I’d add that you cannot allow one of your biggest and most historical rivals (yeah it was the 60s and 70s but the old heads love it) steal your coach and you then let that same coach go for one last hoorah. The only way you let him coach through is if he was going to the NFL but that ain’t happening.

You lose next Friday and now the fans are asking “did he sabotage us?”

Its kinda selfish of CLK to insist on coaching this game bc its a huge distraction and only benefits him at this point (allows both sides to cough up more).

Unless he hasnt truly decided 100%.

He’s always acted like he was bigger than Ole Miss. Keith simply proved it.

True. But this entire week has been a major distraction to the team.

You might think the rivalry is ancient history but I can assure you it is not - at least not in the minds of Ole Miss fans. There is no team they would rather beat than LSU. They hate LSU and are eaten up with envy. If Kiffin dumps them and comes to us then Ole Miss fans will start jumping off of bridges en masse.

It doesn’t benefit the team to have him calling plays on Saturday?

I wonder if Saban regrets forcing him out before the playoffs in 2016?

I know it’s not exactly the same situation, but the team and school allowed Pelini to coach the BCSCG in 07 after accepting the Nebraska job and all went great.

Sure, if OM loses it will make all involved look bad but bottom line is they are better with him than without him.

That’s why they want him on the sideline to finish the season and I don’t blame them.

And so if he stays, then are you still angry?

Not enough to outweigh the distraction IMO.

But they clearly feel differently.

They are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They need kiffin to stay so omiss can do well or in their minds win a NC, they hv never been this close since 60’s. If it was not for that he would hv already been gone.
