QN70F Neo QLED is currently on sale for $800 at Best buy and the Q8F is on sale for $700.

Haven't upgrade the TV since 2019. Have a Vizio 50 inch TV. It is time to move on.

Anyone have experience with either?

The 65" TCL QM7K QLED is also in that same ballpark price range so don't sleep on it; seems to have good rting reviews.

I'll elaborate. The QN70F is microLED lit. It's noticeably and world's away better than the edge lit Q8F.

The TCL QM7K generally offers better contrast and a more complete HDR experience due to its true Full Array Mini-LED backlighting and Dolby Vision support, while the Samsung QN70F focuses on powerful AI processing, comprehensive gaming features with four HDMI 2.1 ports, and a very slim design. The QM7K runs on Google TV, while the QN70F uses Samsung's Tizen OS.

Between those two, definitely the QN70F is worth it if the price is different.

Not to hijack, but I am looking at purchasing a 65 too and although I am enamored with some of the deals right now, I still can't pull the trigger on a $1300/1400 LG C5 or S90F. So when I dropped down to that range, I seem to notice the Hisense and TCLs punch way above their weight class but I could be really out of my element...

I really like the Hisense U7 which is $750 off. Hisense u7 at BB

Those all look nice. I was looking for something cheaper... $300 max but with nice size 55+ for our bedroom.

It's going in a really bright room so I'll be testing that aspect almost immediately.

i'm super stoked as well

its literally replacing a 75" $500 walmart special hisense that we have drug from house to house for the last 3 houses; big scratch on the screen you can see when its off and in general, i'm amazed it still fires up at all.

can't wait to see the difference w/ the new one.

Just had a TCL 98QM8K installed today. Looks great but it’s early. Still fiddling with settings.

insane. Gorgeous. Ridiculous.

I was so smug and happy with the TV picture before but my God this is beautiful.

Put on a 4K Dolby Vision John Wick 4 which was dark and boring before..whoa. it's like I'm at the movies. Picture and colors even pop in the dark scenes like nothing else.

What an idiot I've been.

The bang and olfsen audio is great until I go for that wireless Dolby Atmos system they're promising.

bump.

John Wick 4, BR 2049, Dune..its like i'm watching a whole new movie. colors and blacks are insane.

and the B&O is performing admirably for just 2 speakers in the middle of the back of the TV.

i haven't even attempted to calibrate it yet but i'm loving it. the google tv/android experience is great as well..i think i prefer it to roku already.
