The more I read about this guy the more I love. Thoughts??? Only reason is lane may be staying at ole piss.

I love his offense but man there are big unknowns about what kind of staff he could bring in and whether he can go toe to toe with the big dogs of this league in recruiting and in game planning and game day coaching.

Times has changed and LSU has won with lesser coaches. But we still stuck on big names and burning money (it ain’t mine though). I’ll hire him and put money around him. He would definitely sell tickets with that offense.

I agree about the questions with staff and recruiting. But, he’s good at the rest.
Just hope he can evaluate staff, because he can keep who he wants already at LSU and the money will take care of the rest.
As for recruiting, he has a hands on approach, like Cignetti with evaluations and he reportedly relates well with players. LSU and $ will take care of the rest

He’s no more less qualified than Sumrall or Golesh. He doesn’t have leverage because of his limited HC experience, so, you pay him “handsomely” and stipulate he keep the remaining staff. He wouldn’t say no to a job like this.

Love this guy! N Texas has never been good. He's coached Mahomes and Cam Ward. Very sharp alpha. Somebody's gonna get a steal.

Morris was gonna be Saban’s OC and HC in waiting.. Mrs Terry and saban’s daughter said no to a return to LSU.
