So someone is going to "win" the Lane Sweepstakes by paying over $13 million dollars a year (now rumors that LSU is willing to go up to 15) for a coach who has never coached a playoff game, never made a conference championship, 1 win over a team that finished in the top 10 and just 4 wins over teams who finished top 15?

This runt is 100% correct. Is lane a great OC? You could make that case. Great HC? Hell no. This would be a costly mistake.

This is why I would be good with Dilly. We can't get him, but Brohm would be my first choice.

It’s not a bidding war.

Lane doesn’t care & he’s not making his decision based off of money. If he wants to go to LSU, he will. If he wants to stay at OM, he will. A raise is nice, but it’s not a part of his decision

You went to the OM Board for that? Wow, enlightening.

Why didn't Saban have the success he had at LSU at Mich St?

Why didn't Miles have the success he had at LSU at Ok St?

I long ago passed the point of wanting LSU to get a Dillingham or Morris and letting them make a legacy of their own rather than this bidding war that’s happening.

What's your reasoning? Less BS with Dilly? Cheaper?

Dilly likely wouldn't have made the CFP in the SEC either.

It’s almost like you ignore the last four years he’s had at Ole Miss just to ramble on about some random stupid talking point.

Dilly , Lane K. is an ongoing media circus. It’s tiring.

Newsflash: Coaches who have done most of these things aren’t available.

Any hire we make (Lane or anyone else) is going to be based on potential, not past results.

Dilly is hot garbage. Lost to Miss St, Utah and Houston this season and is 21-15 as their HC. From Arizona and played at ASU so he needs to stay where TF he is. No thanks.

Rather have a shorter term, incentive based contract for Dillingham or Golesh.

Dilly is younger with a bright future. Lane isn't a proven HC. Great OC but this is his first really good season. OM bought him a lot of talent last season and he still couldn't make the playoffs.

Lane Kiffin lost to Billy Napier.. barely beat UF without a HC / OC this yr

Going by weekly results ect is dumb.

What was the program before, and what is it now, with him?
