Getting reports of a bunch of birds in the area. Youths had a good hunt last week. Expecting limits this Saturday. Good luck to all!

I follow an account on instagram call WhiteOak Duckwoods. They had a post on Monday (I think) of one of their properties with hundreds of teal.

Correction:

Northeast LA/ Southeast Ark duck report

NWLA is dry, and I'm not seeing anything. Usually I'm already seeing wood ducks over my back yard at daylight and dusk by now.

My dad wan in Canada chasing them a couple weeks ago and has been out on the Missouri in Nebraska and says there are no ducks around. I’m heading there for Thanksgiving. Will report back.

I thought they were all stopping short because of the hunting farms.

Yea because it’s one of the best duck properties in the south and they spend millions managing it for ducks

Yea, if they don't have them there are none. We are about 45 minutes south and are pretty covered up as well. Not sure how long they'll stay around after this weekends bombardment, without some colder weather.

Our holes around here in NELA are pretty bleak. The usual spots have a bunch of teal and shite I hear. They won't last past the weekend either though...

My son's room mate at school has land in Lonoke, AR. He told me this morning that they are loaded with them on their place.

Dam hope they show up for you. The 4 or 5 I spoke to in NELA seem to be holding a good amount. Mainly teal, spoons, and greasy gads.

Madison Parish is dry. All our cypress brakes are dry as a bone. Need a lot of rainfall
