Will we see them on the field for LSU this year?

Nuss has played his last snap
I don't see any reason for Weeks to come back at this point
Now if he returns to LSU then maybe in the bowl game

unless we're struggling to win, Nuss will 100% get snaps against WKU on senior night. Weeks returning also wouldn't shock me. With him being hurt this year, he probably hasn't improved his draft stock like he hoped he would.

Nuss is listed as doubtful for the game and Wilson said today nothing has really changed since last week. He entertained the thought of Nuss getting "honorary snaps", but it doesn't sound like he's in line to play any meaningful snaps. Wilson was a little more optimistic about Weeks...thought not much.

LSU doesn't have a lot to play for right now. But you'd have to think the opportunity to upset a top 10 Oklahoma team to end the season could at least provide some motivation next week. I suspect Weeks will try to play in that game if he can. Nuss, maybe not as much. Particularly if MVB seems to be getting a bit more comfortable this week.

For all intents and purposes, next week is kind of LSU's "super bowl". It won't get LSU in the playoffs. But at least they can show some program pride and end the year on a positive note. It wasn't a great performance on Saturday, but the team didn't look to have mailed it in. I think the defense will play with pride/passion vs. OU. I think if MVB has a nice game Saturday the offense will have some confidence in their new QB. I think the players would want to win for Frank.

Our 2 Best players ended up being our 2 Biggest disappointments.

And that’s how you end up with the season we have had.

Weeks talked a big game before the season even got on a soap Box and never lived up to it being penalized and kicked out of an important game or hurt.

Next year shut up and play.

Nuss won’t play another snap at LSU

Weeks I’m not sure about. I don’t think he’s using “injury” to tray and salvage whatever may be left of his draft status

is going to have an injury for the rest of the year so it doesn't look like he's getting benched. Frank letting him keep his dignity and also possibly not completely killing his draft stock/keeping him a late round pick.

We are not fools. It is understandable that fans have been led and fed bits of hope by BK & FW because “opting out” during the regular season is a bad look.
