Was Lane at bama the same time as Sam Petitto? He surely has a lot of connections to current staff (Frank, Austin, Bolden, Petitto), does he have any connections to current staff at UF?

Unlikely. Read something yesterday about Golding’s contract being unique to OM and him already telling Kiffin that he won’t follow him to UF or LSU.

Is Golding a dumbarse? Or does his wife run the show at his house? Does he not understand that the next OM coach may not share his defensive philosophy and want his own guy in there? Is OM gonna make him head janitor if Lane leaves? Or is he gonna go work at Lowe's like John Hevesy did when Mullen got fired from Florida, so his wife can live her best life in the grand city of Oxford?
