Why don't we just promote Baker and find a good OC? He love LSU, players love him, and we have a hell of a defensive minded hc.

Baker started off strong but lately his defense has been falling off a good bit. I don't like the lack of consistency. I know the offense isn't helping the defense much, though.
Still, I don't trust Baker to be head coach here at LSU.

Head corch is more than just run the defense and let the offensive coordinator call plays that score points

I personally think Blake is not a great coordinator. He is average at best.

Not gonna happen. There is no way LSU could promote from within and it not be Frank Wilson. The entire national media would paint LSU as racist and the players would likely revolt with how beloved Wilson is.

Good Lord just delete this post please. I’m tired of explaining this to some of our fanbase after every “we should just settle for Frank” post or promote from within bullshite that’ll have us worse off than before because too many LSU fans like to make hires based on their emotions and not actually try to go out there and grab a National Championship caliber coach.

I dont want Baker as HC... but Smart, Day, Lanning, and Freeman were are all first time HCs when they got the job.
