Mötley Crüe is bringing back the Carnival of Sins

on tour next year. I've seen them a few times, once on the first Carnival of Sins tour in 2005. It was a pretty good show honestly. I had to look it up, but apparently Sum 41 opened, which I had completely forgotten. This time around, Tesla will be touring with them. I saw them open for the Crue on the Dr. Feelgood tour way back when. The other opening act is Extreme, who I haven't seen yet and I really want to see Nuno live. So, Motley Crue, Tesla, and Extreme. Yeah or Nay?

No. They should have hung it up after the original Carnival of Sin reunion tour from 20 years ago. They were actually good on that tour. How is Vince going to be able to make it through this entire tour? He is not healthy at all.

Yeah, that's true. Vince isn't even a shadow of a shadow of his former self vocally. Physically, he casts a large one. But Tesla is excellent live and Extreme is on the short list of bands I want to see. Last time I saw Motley I only went because Alice Cooper was opening.

I know we’ve all seen it, but the viral videos where they isolate Vince’s voice is so horrible. He’s not even trying.
I guess I didn’t realize he was sick.

Scooby scooby sweet a beetle in a tree. LOL. This tour is going to suck.

John 5 is a pretty damn good guitarist.

At this point they should just bring back John Corabi.

No doubt, but Mick was the heart and soul of that band
They wouldn’t have been shite without him
There’s just no way I would pay to listen to Fat Vince’s incoherent nonsense without Mick’s riffs

Nah. The Corabi record is pretty good but it's not Motley Crue and not what fans want to see.

Mick isn't in the band because he's not healthy enough for the rigors of touring. The heart and soul thing is debatable. Mick's guitar playing isn't all that hard to replicate.

I think I have talked myself out of getting a ticket for Crue and company. I think I'm going to buy a ticket to Rockville in Daytona Beach.

John 5 is an amazing guitar player. He is way too good to be in the Crue

I'm pretty sure they arent even playing nusic or singing anymore, most of it is artificial.

they have so many really bad songs

Everyone in the band plays to backing tracks, even John 5. They are incredibly lazy, though in Vince's case he really needs the help.

Pathetic money grab attempt - there will be many empty seats
Bands need to know when to hang it up

I could not agree more. What moron is buying tickets to this in advance? This could be a tour that gets cancelled.

Go for the openers.
I love Motley...but they need to hang it up.

I'll skip this one. Go see Tesla and/or Extreme elsewhere if you get the chance. I've seen Tesla three times in the last three years and they're still fantastic. I saw Extreme and Living Color two years ago which was a great show. Crue on the Stadium Tour were pretty bad. Although I was hammered by the time they started which made it more tolerable. The tour last year was a lot better. John 5 is good and the A/V backdrop thing was impressive. I enjoyed it but the openers were crap. Buckcherry is garbage and Seether isn't my thing. I'd be more willing to see Crue if they sacked Vince and just found a soundalike replacement on YouTube.
