Kiffen’s ultimatum

So what happens if Kiffen neither denies or confirms his status by the Egg Bowl? Do they fire him and have to pay him out? This would not be a “for cause” dismissal. I think it’s a bogus rumor. Kiffen has the upper hand and can work his own timetable, unless LSU has set an artificial date. Ole Miss can only sit and wait.

Unless Kiffin is a sociopath, he knows he needs to resolve this as soon as possible not only for his personal future, but for the sake of his current and future employer. There is timing involved (OM playoffs, signing day in early Dec., coaching carousel for OM to hire his replacement, etc.). Obviously the timing is horrific for all parties involved, so unless he's a complete psychopath, he should want to meet the deadline.
Kiffin could be a complete psychopath/sociopath/narcissist, so if he keeps dragging this along past the Egg Bowl, well sometimes the stores just write themselves.
