Our choices are Frank Wilson or Drink. Coach O legit wants back, but our guys are at least not going to do that.

The Landry/BK/Woodward drama took us off the board for a lot of other names.

I'm not an insider, but the facts are Kiffin and his family like Oxford and Ole Miss and feel some loyalty there, BUT Kiffin's personality is always wanting the next big thing, whether that be UF, LSU, or the NFL. He's also flaky and indecisive.

Old Lane would be gone already. New Lane is considering all his options instead of making a rash decision, which is why the "press conference today" thing is dumb. Any good agent would advise his client to do due diligence on the job opportunities, hence why his family was in Gainesville Sunday and here yesterday. I wouldn't read too much into either of those visits.

Where Lane ends up is whether old Lane or new Lane wins out. My guess is he stays put and builds on the roots he has in Oxford. Timeline-wise, I'd bet he takes until at least next week, if not right up to the ultimatum deadline.
