Hope LSU’s next coach agrees with Kirby

He speaks the truth. LSU desperately needs a coach who embraces this mindset and culture.

And they were easily the more physical team last night. It wasn’t close.

That’s part of LSU’s problem. BK had very little contact drills in practice. There aren’t many athletes who can just “turn on” their aggressiveness on Saturdays

Yes, it’s a contact sport.

I think we land Kirby in a similar way that we landed BK. Totally out of left field from a place you think they’d never leave.
I’m kidding.
I’m kidding.

Let me take a TO and watch this again.

I agree with Kirby. In order to execute his strategy you need quality depth top to bottom on the roster to replace for injuries, discipline, and lack of commitment. LSU isn’t quite there yet. I would like to see the next coach load up on older, hungry transfer players who will play physically and not just 5 stars always making a business decision.

Basketball is a contact sport. Football is a collision sport.

That’s the LSU issue no physical play, piss poor fundamentals, no anccoun and no Execution! Thanks BK & Woody!

A lot of coaches say shite like this. The difference is Kirby means it.

Pay should be commensurate with performance as with most production jobs. A lot of them already got paid hence they don't give a shite. Somebody wasn't thinking when they started this NIL shite.

I always thought it was some of that annccoun causing problems.

I believe I posted three years ago, that I wish LSU would not pay any player a dime. If they did that LSU would be the nations favorite team. I don't give a S--- if we would lose five games a year. Anything is better than this s--- show. Or, I could compromise. Every player no matter how far down the bench you are makes the same money. Lace's up and play the game.

Georgia was very physical last night against Texas. In the forth quarter they were imposing their will on Texas.

Used to be a violent collision sport. Really miss those days

And if these kids were smart (I know they're 18-22), they'd know the NFL requires major contact. A little money will be gone before they are 25 and then where will they be? Not in a good place.

Any you would be a big loser.
You are missing the point. Kirby is paying them. He is just saying his standards haven't changed so don't bother coming if you aren't willing to practice and play like he always has. So you know what you are signing up for and what that check is for.

But if you do spend and get a great team, the ones paying aren’t reaping the benefit. In the pros, the owner wins.
Billy Bob Tractor in Leesville who put up 50k isn’t getting a slice, and he isn’t selling more tractors because an 18 year old wears his tshirt around Baton Rouge
Gotta tell his wife no vacation cause he helped land the second string OT.
