Lane has never had the talent rich pipeline to the athletes from the 504 area code. He has never gotten the recruits consistently from the new orleans area. He knows with that talent. His offenses would be unstoppable.
I'm sure him and frank are still tight from the days at tennessee. This has to be a perk that would lure him to Lsu.

Frank is going to be critical for any coach that comes to Baton Rouge. His connections in HS football around this state are a draw for any coach looking to bring in talent.

I think you can throw Austin Thomas into that group also. Have to think the history with Frank and AT could play into our favor.

Don’t forget he is friends with O too who had him interested in the OC position before he got the FAMU offer. Ed will and has spoken well of LSU
