Disney is about to get wrecked at their own game. Nintendo is aiming to fill the void Disney has created with woke Snow White and Mexican Sleeping Beauty.
I didn't even realize there had been a Toy Story 5 trailer drop.
No idea who these guys are, but the points made are valid. And anyone trashing Brie Larson? This isn't 2019. Time and getting burned by Disney Marvel have given her a redemption arc - so far.
This movie seems perfect for her. It fits her and her personality without putting her face on screen.
* Wow, I see the Disney figs are riled up this morning.

Nintendo Land at Universal Orlando is one of the best lands at any theme park I've been to in over a decade
And you're correct. Next they'll bring in an actual white female Zelda to the live action movie. No sign of slowing down.

IIRC the same folks who helped Disney build the Star Wars land built the Nintendo world for universal. The immersion is great even though surprisingly the dark universe land was the best imo.

The market eventually fixes it all

Looking to go next year with kids. How many days and in what parks should we allow ourselves? Definitely doing Universal Studios as well as Epic Universe. Should we include Islands of Adventure?

Have you been to Universal before?
If not, I'd recommend 2 days at Epic and 2 days with park-to-park access at the "old parks."

The problem with Disney's Star Wars land is they made it about Disney Star Wars, not actual Star Wars. The land itself is well made.
Completely agree with you about Dark Universe.

It’s great but the biggest problem with it is the incredible amount of wasted/empty space (no pun intended).

Definitely include Islands of Adventure it has the velociraptor coaster and Hagrid's coaster. Get the park to park pass, ride the Hogwarts express from Universal to Islands of Adventure

Thanks…. So 2 full days to get through all of Epic, and 2 full days for Old Universal + Islands of Adventure?

Yep. 2 days in Universal/Islands is more than enough. We've never needed more than that, but have done more days than that just because we enjoy theme parks. You want the park to park tickets at Universal because it gives you access to the train ride between the two parks, and also lets you pivot if one park is busier during the day than the other. Gives you the opportunity to not feel rushed, which I've found to be just about the only thing that can ruin a theme park trip for me. I want to plan it out and then not have to worry about it while I'm there.
We did 3 days at Epic when we went in June, and by the third day we were just going back through all the things we wanted to try again. That was only weeks after opening, so I'm sure 2 days would be more than enough now.
ETA: I never recommend lightning lanes, fast passes, etc. It's cheaper to just pay for an additional day for my family of 5 than it is to be paying for that many line skips, and I also don't feel like I have to spend all day looking at my phone trying to find the best way to use my line skips.

I think Epic is a one day park it has the least rides but can be the most crowded. ..
Hogwarts express is a pretty cool theme train that takes you between the two Harry Potter lands. Walking is faster but the train is worth it each direction you travel has different effects. You get taken over by Dementors. The normal crew is walking through the halls. The windows are tv screens that really immerse you.
.
The harry potter rides are all pretty great. Gringots is my favorite. Hagrids is a lot of fun too. Though the Velicicoaster is my favorite ride in the old parks.

I agree. Once the crowds die down, Epic is easily a one day park.
They're already expanding it though.

I’m trying to find tickets on Universal’s site for 4 days, and if bundles automatically all three parks with park sharing among all of them. Is there a better way to buy tickets?

I've only ever purchased through Universal, but not familiar with this. It's park-to-park for Epic, Universal Florida, and Islands?
I've seen them sell tickets like that for Universal, Islands, and the water park before, so be careful that's not what they're trying to sell you.
ETA: I just checked the website and found 4 day passes in 2026 that allow free movement between Epic, Universal, and Islands starting at $110 a day. I'd say that's what you want.
Don't get the ticket with the water park on it unless you intend to go to the water park.
ETA2: Not sure how credit card averse you are, but I also see they're giving $250 statement credit and 6 months no interest if you sign up for a Universal card. I'm a sucker for these sorts of deals, but then I never use the cards again so credit card companies hate me. If you use that card for purchases in the parks, you get 10% off and also double points that you can use for your statement balance to further "discount" your trip.

Walking can be faster but it's nice to be able to sit in some AC for a bit after walking all day

Wow thanks for all the tips.
Sorry for the hijack. As it gets closer I’ll start a travel board thread. This is e ough to get me started as I really needed to find someone familiar with the parks.

I lied, one more question. I priced express passes… there’s 5 of us and they’re only good for US and Islands… no option for Epic.
If we get a 2 day express passes each for 2 of the 4 days were there (which will be in US/Islands anyway), would that be the one we want?
I see what you’re saying about just getting a 5th day. It only adds a couple hundred $, whereas the express doubles the ticket cost.
