Increase in annoying spam calls

Does anyone have suggestions on stopping the increase in annoying spam calls offering good rates on loans and mortgages, insurance and solution to false IRS garnishment. I never answer these type of calls and let them go to voicemail. I've signed on the government "do not call" list. I have a iphone and there are call blocking apps. I also get the calls on my home phone. Here's one of many calls I've received. Any suggestions on stopping these calls would be appreciated.
Here's an example:
"This is a taxpayer support office You've been flagged for IRS negotiation This may help you avoid garnishments or levees using the fresh start initiative Be connected to a support agent please choose option to to be added to our do not call list. Please select nine. Once again, select two now to get assistance And press nine to stop these calls…”

Turn off calls from numbers that are not in your contact list. iOS
quote:
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap Apps, then tap Phone.
Choose one of the following:
Never: Call Screening is turned off and your iPhone will ring when you receive a call from an unsaved number.
Ask Reason for Calling: Calls from unknown numbers will be asked for more information before iPhone rings.
Silence: Calls from unsaved numbers will be silenced, sent to voicemail, and appear in the Recents list.
Note: When answering calls, Siri will speak in your iPhone’s default language. See Change the language and region on iPhone.
Filter unknown and spam calls
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap Apps, then tap Phone.
Turn on the following:
Unknown Callers: Calls from unknown numbers are removed from your Recents list and sent to the Unknown Callers list.
Spam: Calls identified by your carrier as potential spam or fraud are silenced, sent to voicemail, and moved to the Spam list.
You can mark an unknown caller as known to prevent future calls from being sent to the Unknown Callers list. Go to the Phone app , tap the Filter button, tap Unknown Callers, tap Mark as Known next to the call, then tap Mark as Known.
To remove a number from your known callers, tap Contacts twice, tap Other Known, tap the number you want to remove, then tap Mark as Unknown at the bottom of the contact card.

How to screen texts
quote:
Screen, filter, report, and block text messages on iPhone
You can reduce the number of unwanted text messages you receive when you screen messages from unknown senders, filter and report spam messages, block unwanted messages, and turn off business alerts.
Screen and filter messages from unknown senders
You can prevent unknown senders from texting you directly. Their messages are filtered other folders, and you don’t get notified about them unless you want to be.
Go to the Messages app on your iPhone.
Tap the Filter button at the top right of the conversation list, then tap Manage Filtering.
Turn on Screen Unknown Senders.
If you want to allow notifications from some unknown senders, tap Allow Notifications, then turn on or off those categories. (Options vary by country and region.)
For example, you can allow notifications for time-sensitive texts, like verification codes.
To detect and filter SMS, MMS, and RCS messages from unknown senders into folders for Transactions and Promotions, tap the Back button, tap Text Message Filter, then turn on Text Message Filter and third-party message filtering extensions you install.
Note: Filters applies to promotions and transactions (or whatever your third-party message filtering extension offer). Text message filtering doesn’t apply to any sender you’ve replied to three times or more. Try blocking and reporting those senders, as below.
Review messages from unknown senders
Go to the Messages app on your iPhone.
Tap the Filter button at the top of the conversation list, then tap Unknown Senders.

Thank the lawd Apple made this a feature a few years ago. I relied on Robokiller for years, but the massive price hike around COVID was just unpalatable.
Same functionality exists on Android, basically.
