Looking for recommendations for removing hair from the nether regions. Preferably an electric shaver. I use hair removal cream currently, but don’t care for it.

Waxing isn't as bad as you think it is if you're trying to go full bald.

recently got this one to keep my beard in shape and for ....um... other areas and really like it more than I thought I would, especially since it has attachments to keep my old man nose/ear hair in check which allowed me to retire the dedicated trimmer I had been using for that job.

The Philips One Blade is pretty good. Of all the ones I've tried, it's the best at not nicking my balls

You go straight blade to the spot? or you use one of the guards?

Definitely TMI coming up, but here goes:
The little green guard is good enough for general manscaping. If you want to get smooth you have to pull the skin taut and use no guard but your chance of cuts goes up. As long as you keep it flat against the skin like the directions tell you to, it's pretty safe but there's always a chance you nick yourself
