Need a new series

Been on a big sci-fi run this year — Expanse, Murderbot, Bobiverse, Dark Tower, Silo series, Old Man’s War, Mickey7, Hitchhiker’s Guide, and the Andy Weir books.
I really like Andy Weir’s style, the humor/voice of the Bobiverse, and the world-building in The Expanse.
What should I read next?

Three Body Problem books are great, but a lot of people can't get past the science and the Chinese names.
Only one book has been released so far, but the guys who wrote The Expanse have started a new series called The Captive's War. The first book, The Mercy of Gods was pretty enjoyable. The second book of the series should be coming out some time next year I think.
If you're ok with fantasy books, give the First Law trilogy a try.

I enjoyed all of the series you mentioned and would recommend the Red Rising series and the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.

I'll throw out something that is not sci-fi - the Master and Commander series by Patrick O'Brien. In a lot of ways it is similar to the original Star Trek with the captain similar to Kirk and the surgeon/naturalist similar to Spock. Lots of traveling the world with adventures; and a solid sense of humor. 21 books so there is plenty to keep you occupied. I've listened to each book several times.

There's a sci-fi/fantasy recommendation thread on page 1 of this board that is 75 pages long. It's a good one to read through to see a lot of the recommendations. I've started numerous series because of that thread.
Have you read any of the classics like Dune and Foundation? Both well worth reading but are missing the humor aspect. Personally love the Robot series by Asimov better than Foundation Caves of Steel, The Naked Sun, and The Robots of Dawn.
I'm always the Debbie downer in the room when it comes to Red Rising. I thought it was severely overrated/not original and not a fan of the writing style. But don't let me stop you, most everybody loves it. Three Body Problem is pretty big right now as well, that's Mrs. Iwys favorite series.

Not a series but I went thru a few Crouch books. Re read Dark Matter then went to Recursion and Upgrade. Those were both really good. Recursion I liked better but Upgrade was still enjoyable.
A quick read I just finished today was Starter Villain. Hilarious and a fun quick read

As others here said came in to say Red rising and Dungeon crawler Carl. Red rising has 7 books out he’s working on the last one. DCC has 7 out, 8 comes out in May think and he wants to finish with 10 was the game plan.
