Both have won championships so I’d take it
Didn't someone report that all three schools were pretty much offering the same contract???

So, hypothetically, even if this is true then it's true for everyone. Not just LSU. He seems to make it sound like only an LSU issue.

Normally yes, but this is Ed O we’re talking about

Exactly haha! This is totally something he would be on board for haha

Need a new series

Been on a big sci-fi run this year — Expanse, Murderbot, Bobiverse, Dark Tower, Silo series, Old Man’s War, Mickey7, Hitchhiker’s Guide, and the Andy Weir books.

I really like Andy Weir’s style, the humor/voice of the Bobiverse, and the world-building in The Expanse.

What should I read next?
With LSU having a bye this week, it makes a lot of sense to let MVB take the first-team snaps — especially if Nuss is nursing a nagging injury. No reason to push your starter during an off week. It’s the perfect time to get the backup some real reps and keep everyone as fresh as possible.

I still think we’ll see Nuss out there and playing the whole game. Giving MVB the practice reps doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a QB switch coming — just feels like smart roster management heading into the next stretch.

Maybe.

I get that QB play has to get better, but it feels like we fall into the same trap every year — thinking the backup is the savior.

Even if Nuss makes a jump or MVB lights it up, that alone won’t make us a top-5 team. The O-line, the run game, and overall consistency still have to improve. Fixing one position won’t cover up the other gaps.

re: First base next year?

Frey should come back. He hit over .330 and had some huge moments — that Little Rock game was clutch. With Jones gone, first base is a great opportunity. It could be a lot like Jones coming back this past season — one more year to develop and really boost his draft stock.

Not to mention, as a fan, I’d love it haha!

but it was very effective

Again, I never said it wasn’t effective. In my last post I literally said they had a great season. I’m pointing out that the way their coach acted was also seen in their players. That is it. Never said they were a bad team. To get where they did you have to be good.
Not saying he is a bad coach or isn’t successful. You can be both immature and successful. Those aren’t mutually exclusive.

He and his team had a lot of success this year but you are lying to yourself if you don’t think that the way he acted isn’t seen in his players as well.
He is also a perfect example of how your leadership trickles down. Even before Sunday you could tell that their team took on his arrogant and cocky persona. It doesn’t look good on anyone and it ultimately came back to bite him.

I wouldn’t call it him being passionate. I would call it him being childish and immature.
When will people learn that saying stuff like that never works out!

LSU is 2/2 now in Omaha when comments like this are made!
CC’s coach completely let that team down today. He put himself and his ego before the team, and it was easy to see that by how the players reacted the rest of the game.

The opposite was seen with JJ and LSU. His post game interview was all about team team team.
