Please someone explain something to me about the Epstein files

Seriously, how would that work?
Let’s say Congress overwhelmingly voted for the release of all known files on Epstein. Why would anyone believe that “ALL” the files would be released?
This vote seems like a moot point. Those in control of the files will make damn sure some files won’t get out.
What system is in place to supposedly guarantee all files would be released? There is no system I could think of that would guarantee full disclosure.
So what in the frick are we doing here?

You're right. Even if they vote to compel the DoJ to release the files, the left will still bitch and moan that they're protecting Trump when he isn't implicated. The reason Trump is wanting them to wait is two fold. 1, he is still baiting them. 2, the timing still isn't right. I don't know what they're waiting on, but they're still waiting for something.

I think it's showmanship.
Congress gets to rattle its saber, the courts will block certain information from being released- just like they already have.
Then, Congress can pass legislation to compel, but with carve outs... such as victim protection or the evergreen "national security".
So... like I said, it's all showmanship at this point. But... the rumors and lies will fly much like Shifty Schiff and Russia! Russia! Russia!

This is why I've argued no admin has released them. They will be underwhelming and people will then accuse whichever admin releases them of being part of the coverup.

A few of the Kevin McCarthy holdovers (Massie, MTG, Nancy Mace, Boebert) are sticking it to Mike Johnson (and Trump), and hoping to gain something out of the deal. But its all just gamesmanship. Its mainly Massie trying to take down Johnson and Trump on his way out. Hes polling in the teens in his primary, which is in May. MTG is pissed that Trump didnt pick her to run for US Senate
No criminal keeps a list of his crimes laying around. The files will be nothing but guesses and 'what ifs' in note form, from dozens of people over 30 years. The victims have already testified as to who did what, with others choosing not to come forward. One even wrote a book
And with 5 different presidents having been elected in that time, no one found anything damaging to their competition, or you would have heard about the leaks by now
Plus, they had so little on Trump, that they had to make up stuff, and even changed laws to try to get him

The only way, if even then, that this Epstein thing gets resolved is if they release info , roll them up and do some charges. Those that are lesser involved like pilots of island caretakers rat out the players and let chips fall. Any thing else would be considered hiding things and democrats will use as a club to beat republicans with. Get Clinton, Gates, Prince Andrew, all those Hollywood people, and every piece of ilk that used those kids as rag dolls. These human garbage people have affiliations with other sex trafficking surely as well.
