YouTube TV vs Hulu (watching on phone)

One thing I have noticed about watching Hulu on my phone vs YouTube TV is that the picture is not nearly as clear on Hulu. Even on WiFi at my house it isn’t great on my cell. Beats not having it at all, but would’ve thought Hulu would still have good quality on mobile devices.

Hulu sucks compared to YTTV. No multi view no 4K. Screw Disney. What assholes they are for pulling this shite mid football season

It will be over soon.
Google should just buy disney, their market cap is like 10x disney

Word out here on the street saying Google and Disney are close to a deal.
They’ve agreed on ABC and ESPN and still hammering out FX and Nat Geo.

Haven't tied Hulu yet but satellite direct tv picture was much better than YouTube TV. That's all I got.

I've seen the same.
Basically Google doesn't want to pay for the legacy channels and Disney wants to put all the legacy channels in a bundle and that is hopefully the last hurdle to clear for a deal.

YTTV makes its money on other peoples content. They don’t do shite and don’t incur the cost to produce.
They should write a check and be thankful Disney doesn’t pull the plug on them all together. Imagine needing your competitors product and bitching about the cost.

Then disney should turn hulu or fubo into a streaming product as good as youtubetv
They are garbage thus disney needs the YTTV subscribers. This is costing disney 40 million a week

I have Hulu live and if I watch through the ESPN app on any smart tv, I can do multi view there.

HULU App daily user here. There is an app setting default to "Data Saver", change it to "Best Available" and you will have as high quality as I would want on mobile. I think it does vary based on streaming vs live tv but even live sports is mininum 1080p/60fps I think.
I dont know how Youtube TV app works but I love that Hulu app lets you minimize to a small picture and be able to use literally any other app at the same time. I can have a game on Hulu app in small window and do work, browse internet, answer emails, play mobile games, etc The Hulu video always stays on top while swiitching to different apps flawlessly and I can drag the screen anywhere and scale it to any size I want (including full screen). Audio mixes as well so I can get audio of another app + Hulu at same time... perfect for casual sport "listening" until something exciting happens.

We got rid of YTTV Saturday. Joined HULU. Couldn’t stand not having all the ESPN channels. I hate we had to leave the bundle we had with Xfinity. But $300 a month for internet and about three networks that I watch was outrageous.

The Bama game was in 4k. For no extra cost. Sorry if you need more training to know how to watch it.

Hulu was a no go for me. It won't allow live TV away from your home area- and neither will Fubo (also owned by The Big Mouse). Not good if you own a second home or camp out of the area.
I ended up getting Directv Stream with the sports package added for $67 a month. Offers everything I needed.
