Try a play that requires the QB to pass the ball in the middle of the feild rather than all pass plays behind the line of scrimmage towards the sidelines

Van Buren threw the ball over the middle several times.

MVB's dart to the center of the field during the A&M game was awesome. That is one thing Nuss can't do.......pretty much ever.

Passes over the middle take longer to develop. Time is at a premium when your OLine is shite.

If I were suggesting things to him, I'd simply tell him to stop calling dumbass scared plays.

Van Buren did just that. His first throw the game when Nuss only produced 29 yards for the offense all 2nd half a few games back was a 28 yard pass up the middle to Green. Also threw up the middle this last game. You know, exactly what Nuss refuses to do. So how is it that as soon as MVB comes into the game each time, he has the balls to throw in the middle, yet Nuss doesn’t the entire year?

They did. The QB didn't throw it.

True, but they can run quick slants to our speed guys over the middle. We'd rather throw behind the line, get no blocking and lose 3 yards on 1st down. It's basically as bad as a sack.

Stop throwing the ball to Bauer Sharp. Get Green down the field in routes. Stop playing Bauer Sharp all together.
