If you must run one, do it in pregame warm ups.

They aren’t running screens because they’re in love with them. They’re running screens because they don’t trust their offensive line to hold up for anything that takes longer to develop.

We have to run them with how bad our O-line is. its an extension of our running game at this point. Even though it rarely works, we dont have the line to really run much else

And yet, we can’t block the screens for shite, and there were wide open receivers all over the place on drop back passes with plenty of time to throw. Nuss didn’t even look at them, or refused to step up in the pocket and throw the ball.

Didn't mind a few of them to counter in Blitz situations.. But, you don't need to run 20 of them.

This is lost on a lot of people.

we're running screens because it's all Nuss can throw.

If we through down the field all day get ready for 6 or 8 interceptions. There is a reason we run those safe plays.

Whoever designed the screen, where the qb runs TOWARD THE SCREEN RECIEVER before he throws it, is the biggest moron in college football

So roll the pocket and layer the routes like we did in the first drive that marched down the field. Also, run the football with Berry

That is beyond the skill set of the OL and QB

it’s so infuriating when you realize that our biggest issue and unknown coming into the season was raved about by Kelly in the offseason as a bright spot. He said verbatim he knows what an offensive line is supposed to look like and this one was going to be really good.

He lied to us and reminds me of Les saying they’d make changes to the offense that never came which led to his demise too.

Why y'all fussing at me? I'm not saying that would be MY plan. I'm saying that's what THEY'RE doing.

It sucks too because he had good OL's at ND so we had reason to believe him when he said we would be good there. Little did we know.......

I want to only see screens on 1st and 2nd down. Tired of seeing screens on 3rd down. If we have X yards to get on 3rd, throw the ball X+ yards down the field. No more lazy screens on crucial plays.

No need for screen passes this week. Run the football and keep the ball away from Taylen Green. Arky’s rush defense is one of the worst in the country giving up almost 190 yds/game. We can’t pass block so might as well try to get the run game going this week with Berry and Durham.

I have called for screen passes to be run due to the blitzing of the opponent and also poor blocking with a normal rush of 4. But you know the one thing you can't do when throwing a screen...stare at the target receiver the entire time. That is what Nussmeier did. LSU is probably the worst team I've seen this year on NOT looking off the target receiver. Ok, maybe Lagway at Florida is worse. But one of many issues with Nussmeier is he stares down his receiver...a screen pass is supposed to be a SURPRISE play. You can't say, "OK defense, I'm about to dump off a screen pass...are you ready to defend it."

It worked for awhile then Bama adjusted. Frank basically said they ran out of options to hide oline weakness.
