Just for future reference, I know on good authority that several coaches have come through the Gonzales airport in past for interviews likely to avoid press and flight tracking. Idk if it’s possible to track to that specific airport and flights

Yes, it is possible just like any plane tracking. The tail number is always helpful.

My boss was eating some beignet’s at the Coffee House in Sorrento today when lo and behold, Nick Saban walked in with Verge and what appeared to be some other big wigs. They sat in the private room just to the side of where you order (assume this was for privacy). Nick had three orders of the beignet fingers, and open faced beignet with extra onions, and a water. Verge had a 3 egg breakfast plate with grits, bacon, and toast. Nick smiled and seemed to be enjoying himself.

I’m not saying it’s a done deal, but he walked to the back after to watch them feed the gators and shook Verge’s hand before heading back to his private Cessna at Gonzales International.

There’s a poster on this site who used to work there and wrecked the courtesy vehicle late one night back in 2023. Left it in a ditch then got arrested a few weeks later when they figured out who it was.

Allegedly, he was also taking up people’s planes without a pilot’s license. Now that one I can’t confirm as it was told me 2nd/3rd hand.

Now, this has nothing to do with the coaching search but I’d be shocked if they were flying in coaches to that shithole.

Lincoln Riley came through there for a fact. Also president Clinton flew in there once as well.
