So the buzz flying around was the shutdown happened so Johnson didn't have to swear in Grijalva. Supposedly she would be the one vote needed to bring a vote on the Epstein files. Are we finally going to see the unreacted files and put this thing to rest?

I think they should be released, but I'm not going to hold my breath...

Longer they wait, the more damaging it is.

House will pass something and the Senate will ignore it.

It doesn't matter what gets released. People who follow it will not be happy anyway.

Trump is probably mentioned, as he was in Epstein's orbit in the 90s. If there was anything damning to Trump, it would have been leaked out of DOJ a very, very long time ago.

Blows my mind that this decades long right wing issue was suddenly taken on by the left, because they realized they could use it against Trump 24/7 when Trump stepped on his own dick in the spring and said who cares about that old dead creep. This is after Bondi did the big binder flop in Jan/Feb.

The original sin was in 2008? When they gave him a sweetheart deal and his freedom.

Nobody else other than Gislaine has been arrested. That being the case, the DOJ would face major lawsuits if the name of powerful people appeared in those files were unredacted. That's slander.

I do think the brits are getting out in front of it a little bit with banning the royal prince, but they've been looking to dump that creep for decades

My biggest bet is there is a lot of Israeli stuff. Which would explained the hands off approach originally and why nothing substantial has come out

Or, simply, because of the original bargain mad back in the day, they don't really have much by way of his clients to begin with.

This crap is so tired. The dems had control of the house and senate during the first half of Biden term, and for the second half retained the senate. They had no cares about Epstein during this time. As bad as they were trying to bury Trump during this time, there is no way they would not have released them while Biden was in office if it meant there was a "got him" which means one of a few things: a.) There is nothing there, b.) It is damning for a lot of people in positions of power (politicians and very rich) across the political spectrum, or c.) it would be a threat to national security...
