Like it or not we really NEED Nuss to keep playing.

Nuss could and probably should be benched or opt out, but if MVB does wind up being our future guy we need him to maintain his RS so then if nuss isn’t/doesnt play that leaves us really hurting and possibly having to turn to Hurley? We don’t want that for that kid right now.

MVB has two years of eligibility left, he’s playing to audition for starter next year at LSU or somewhere else depending on new staff.

MVB won’t be on the roster next year, because he isn’t good enough to compete for championships. That said there’s no reason not to just let him play. Nuss is much worse.

Does Nuss have a “games played” stipulation in his NIL deal? Either way he can take a back seat until he gets his head right.

You’re not wrong but you gotta give him a fair shake. You tossed him in 3rd qtr losing to Bama on the road at night.
But I agree, there’s no reason not to play him. If he wants to leave, that’s up to him. Let him start, see what he can do and put some tape out there.
You already know what you’re going to get from Nuss.

I tend to agree with you here, but there is a chance we are both wrong as the kid has yet to get a week of practice as a starter, much less play an entire game, at least at LSU.
And like you said, there is zero reason to start Nuss. Besides if MVB really stinks it up, you can go back to Nuss for the last two games.
