I have no idea what Shough season will be. 2 games in, he looks decent. It would be a miracle, Shough will be QB1. Saints draft strategy will be different. I hope so.

Why would it be a miracle? Everyone in here called this guy trash before he even played a snap. Now he comes in and outshines rattler and looks pretty composed for a guy thats started 2 road games in his career. Could he turn out good, absolutely but it's not a miracle if he does

Even if KM isn`t a great all around coach.
If he can continue to develope a NFL QB, that would be another step in the right direction.

I didn't love the pick and didn't think he'd do much as an NFL player (still may not). But watching him in the preseason the one that stood out was his accuracy. There were mistakes. But when he threw the ball he was rarely off target. Compare that to Rattler who could on one throw could drill it into a tight window, the next pass, throw it at the feet of a wide open WRs, the next throw completed it, albeit it behind a WR. Shough delivers a very catchable pass

Oh no, they drafted a guy that isn't already named the starter; why did they waste the pick

Rattler vs Shough is interesting because accuracy is clearly Rattlers biggest hurdle but he handles pressure really well and has great feet.

Shough during college and preseason I’d argue his biggest issue was decision making under pressure but he has a strong and accurate arm when comfortable. Now, yesterday he handled pressure great… so maybe he’s developing and getting better.

The inconsistency was extremely frustrating. While he threw a few dots, most were off target where the receiver had to majorly adjust, even on short, simple throws.

Shough also has some bad ones, but he throws far more goods ones, which is the inverse of what we've seen with Rattler.

Let's witness a legit sample size before reaching a verdict on the Shougher.

Shougher is benefitting from the end of season schedule we have, too.
