What caused America to look at Israel differently?

Facts or fiction?

It was good to have an ally in the Middle East.

Until Trump came around and made allies with a lot of different nations that had been hostile toward us (or at least he extended the olive branch).

What actually happened. Are we less ignorant or less appreciative of Israel?

Qatar paid off too many people.

I am against funding Israel, but we also should allow them to eliminate Hamas.

The Gaza attacks

Information is too accessible nowadays. Nowhere to hide the evil shite they were doing.

Everything else snowballed from there

I support working with them when our interest align ( such as taking out Irans nuclear program) but I don’t want to America involved in every single issue like it seems we’ve been. Also the Liberty incident decades and decades ago really bothers me but that was before my time

Why would we ever be appreciative of Israel?

Is this some ship?

I had an insane neighbor who was a conspiracy theorist on this and would walk around in his underwear trying to get people to listen to his theories on this.

Anti-Israel only, I have really liked most of the Jewish people that I have met.
I simply don't think we should financially prop up Israel or any other ally.

Access to information and who controls it.

I’m for a pro Israel relationship as long as the financial and military pieces make sense.

Social media has let a lot of people with every level of information and differing opinions leave impressions on a lot of followers. Some are extreme in varying directions. I’ve never seen this level of antisemitism or anti Israel sentiment before.

What happened and who did it is beyond dispute. The tricky part is understanding why. Yes it was a ship. And the Jews bombed the hell out of it. Killed a lot of our boys. Of course it got very little attention.

I’m more concerned about anti-Semitism. I don’t think America should turn its back on Israel. Who knows what terror organization may spring up if Israel doesn’t stay vigilant.

Please explain how Israel is an ally. Britain is an ally; they join all our wars. France is an ally; they join many of our wars. When do Israelis put their lives in the line for us.

Pretty obvious and nobody had mentioned it yet??? B/c Americans are smart enough to figure out they had involvement in CK's assassination...

In a biblical sense, would you consider Israel an ally, for a lack of better terms that what’s good for them is good for us?
