Does Nuss actually have a go to receiver?

Our qbs have always had that receiver they could rely on, had chemistry with. We can just rattle off the combos fro over the years. Does Nuss have one?

Yeah, whichever one is closer to the line of scrimmage

Depends on who is >5 yards out

Aaron Anderson is the closest to it.
But Nuss kinda hung him out to dry earlier this year and got AA hurt. He's been a shell of himself since.
Also, Nuss isn't throwing over the middle this year, which is where AA does the most damage.

Miss the elite combo of Danny Etling and Malachi Dupre.

The one behind the line of scrimmage on 3rd and 7 seems to be his favorite

Aaron Anderson, and Nuss basically got him killed with a bad pass....

Tell me what the play calling has been designed for. Until the 1st drive in the 3rd Quarter, only 1 play was designed to have a pass over 15 yards. It’s great to try to bait the secondary into jumping routes, but we don’t run anything that entails a double move. Instead it’s BS screens nonstop.
The OL is absolutely atrocious. There’s no denying the obvious. It’s only comparable to the 99 OL when the starters were like 3rd to 5th string when fall camp began. That said, the play calling is making them look even worse.

Nuss had all the potential in the World destroyed by the disastrous failure of his coaches and his acceptance of their misdirection instead of going into another program willing to accept his value rather than attempting ignore his talents and forced him into game plans that were unsuccessful and a football program that could not adapt even after failure was the only product of their efforts.
The University, the coaches and Nuss were all co-conspirers to the collapse of this football program and Nuss bears the bulk of his financial collapse of his future in football and his collapse as a person who was a Heisman candidate one year to one of the worst quarterbacks in Division One football.

He had two. Both are starting in the NFL. Nabers and Thomas.
Unfortunately, Kelly didn't recruit like Orgeron. O left us a QB and receivers but Kelly didn't replenish the cupboard.

You know you’re desperate when you wish Danny Etling was still your QB.
He lost 0-10 to Bama in 2016 and 10-24 in 2017.
He wasn’t good like some of the posters on here think. That’s all revisionist history.
