I knew what play before even clicking the link.

I was expecting late first half when he threw the ball away instead of taking the sack.

Its bad but this is th3 worst O Line I have seen in 50 years. I mean just historically bad.

It’s the worst OL I’ve seen in my 36 years in watching football period.

I have to give Les credit. We had some of the best offensive lines and big running backs during his time. I don’t believe I have ever seen a worse line than we have. Embarrassing. Hopefully help is on the way

If you know your OL is bad and your QB is a statue you either have to get the ball out under 2 seconds or get the run game going.

I’m going outside and rub some dirt in my eyes. That’s hard to watch.

The o line on that play did fine. The left tackle pushed the guy way up field. Extremely simple for the QB to simply step up

It’s horrible, but that play was all Nuss dropping a giant turd.

The OLine is coached to block rushers to the outside to form a pocket. QB steps up and buys time. Watch that play and imagine if Nuss had followed standard protocols.

I’m surprised he didn’t limp back to the sidelines after that play…..

This. Nuss has zero pocket awareness. He should have stepped up and moved to his right.

Yep. I still can’t figure out what he was doing. He’s either hit an all time low of no game awareness or he was throwing the game. Baffled.

Exactly.
Greg McElroy was hammering on just that fact. The OL gave him a lane to step up. Instead, he does what he’s done his ENTIRE career. Tries to spin away from the rush like he’s MFing Fran Tarkenton. There is NO way he’s coached to do that. Yet, it happens every game along with other dumb mistakes. I think it’s very clear he doesn’t accept coaching. Never has. He’s a guy who has always thought he was much better, individually, than he is.

Should have shown the play where he had an open field to pick up a first down but ran out of bounds two yards down the field. That shows exactly who he is !!

Step up in the pocket and roll left..
His pocket presence is brutal.
