Pelicans are using Thanksgiving week standings as evaluation for future of Willie

Even so, these discussions about his future are ongoing, and it truly does seem like a matter of when he will be relieved of his duties rather than if this will occur in the coming weeks. As ClutchPoints' Pelicans insider Chris Dodson reported, the team is being patient with Green, and the team is using the week of Thanksgiving near the end of November as a benchmark to evaluate the team's position and Green's standing.
Part of Siegel’s latest article.
He also says starting Jordan over Yves and benching Poole has frustrated the locker room.
Dumars is ready to move on due to the handling of Queen, and it seems like a matter of when and not if he will be fired.
Gayle is the only voice still advocating for him.

In any event that Green is removed as the head coach by the end of November, it is expected that James Borrego would assume duties as the interim head coach, sources said. Borrego has interviewed for several head coaching jobs through the years and ultimately decided to stay in New Orleans. He also has the support of many players, including Williamson.
Also says Jose and Hawk are being pursued by multiple teams

He's using Dodson as his source. Dodson also was one who hinted that Willie was getting fired when they got back from the previous west coast road trip only to crawfish when it did not happen.

I veiw Hawk the same as I did Trevor Penning. If anyone is willing to give up literally anything for him, do it.

Sure am glad we're exercising our due diligence about Willie's coaching abilities and not with hiring a GM.
Well run team we got here.

Right, he has next to no value except to a team that thinks he can be a reclamation project. Free up the roster spot asap.

I'm advocating for the Grim reaper to come take Gail ASAP

I watched David Grubb say something pretty interesting about Green and the head coaching role. He stated that if go back in NBA history, firing a head coach, in-season, has never turned around a losing team. The teams either regressed, got worse, or just did the same as before. He supposedly did a lot of research and was able to recit numerous cases that supported his point.
He was not advocating for keeping Green. He was just stating that it probably wouldn't make any difference in the short-term..

I mean this isn't rocket science. It has more to do with the shitty roster 95% of the time.
Doesn't matter who's coaching if you're roster simply sucks.
Chris Finch took over midseason for Ryan Saunders who started the season 7-24. They went 16-25 to close the season, which is considerably better. They won 46 games the next year, and have made the playoffs 4 years in a row now.
No one's expecting some miraculous turnaround this year, but that doesn't mean we can't bring in someone new who can start implementing his ways so that we can go in to the offseason knowing what to expect from the get go, and be ready to compete next year.

This seems like complete BS, particularly this part.
Queen had zero preseason. We are 8 games in. 3 of them were blowouts.
Sure maybe Queen should have played more against the clippers, but Queens role out so far shouldn’t have your hair on fire.

Denver (14), Clippers (13), OKC (7) games he barely played.
Charlotte game he played 17 minutes and was so good Willie had no choice but to keep him out there.
That’s why Dumars is frustrated with him

Oh, you better prepare yourself, it’s gonna happen.
I think he will fetch a young player and a 1st
With their need at PG I could see Houston coming after him.
Something like Tari Eason for Jose, or Reed Sheppard for Jose and Hawk
Not sure if any draft compensation would need to be added for either of those, but with the abundance of PG talent we have they will most assuredly trade one, and Jose is the most tradeable

Alvarado?

Yes.
Not a good young player, just a young player that’s not seeing playing time on his current team but may have some potential. Think someone like Rob Dillingham in Minnesota
