As a once long-suffering Manchester City fan. Hard to top the "Agueroooo!" QPR match in 2012. It's not the biggest comeback but you have factor in the following.

Last match of the season.
League Championship at stake.
Their rival, "Manchester United" is also playing for the title. A rival that had owned the EPL throughout the 90's and much of 00's. City had not won a title since 1968.
Tied going into the final game but City had the advantage because United had a worse "goal difference" over the season. So, all they had to do was match United's result.
City is down 2-1 going into extra time, needing 2 goals. United were minutes away from a 1-0 win.

That moment was ICONIC, but it wasn’t a comeback. The correct answer is 28-3.

My honorable mention, which you simply have to see to understand why it's not #1. If you have heard, "Plano East/Tyler John Tyler" it is still a sight to behold.

Texas State Playoffs
Plano East is losing 41-17 with under 3 minutes left.

Me, Meatloaf (RIP) and the Oasis brothers.

I added a football one that is far better than NE/ATL.

I remember this match. Almost a disaster for City (my EPL team) but dude ... this is no place for this kind of shite.

Anyhoo, the greatest comeback is easily the Bills/Oilers playoffs game with Frank Reich engineering it.

I pull for man city.

Watched live as the above mentioned scenario happened too.

This was the breakthrough

You just had to be there as a city support to appreciate it

Not to mention the foreshadowing from Martin Tyler after the goal, "It might just be the start of a dynasty."

People just can’t appreciate 2 goals in stoppage time to win the league over your most hated rival/“most popular club in the world” in the 38th epl fixture

It is 28-3 but that is up there. The announcer for that game was amazing.

The same year there was another incredible finish. Watford and Leister

With a split screen of Wayne Rooney shaking hands thinking they had it in the bag just seconds before they flip back to Man City going in for the winner. Disney could not write this stuff. It's why I gave the leadup and reasoning.

If it falls on deaf ears, so be it.
