Until a balanced budget amendment is passed nothing will change....and the rat bastards in Congress are not going to pass a balanced budget amendment because they don't want things to change.

It would never pass, but I would love to see legislation that required a budget to be in place for members of Congress to get paid. Any period without a budget would see their paychecks put on paying down the debt.

A great addition to my list of things that make a lot of sense - which means it will never see the light of day.
I wanted them to withhold senator pay until the CR is passed - but they wouldn't even consider it.
