I know this is a little off topic but there is a game Saturday night. What would have to happen for LSU to pull it off?

I certainly don't think Alabama is invincible. FSU was a beatdown (and FSU are no world beaters) and Alabama has struggled against mediocre teams this year.

I think if the LSU team that beat Clemson shows up, there's a shot. A controlled offensive game plan that doesn't let the QB (Nuss or MVB) sit in the pocket waiting for things to develop downfield. Sticking with the running game even if you're not getting 5 yards a play. Playing more defensive zones and playing a true nickel instead of putting Perkins on a WR or TE. A couple of turnovers our way would be nice too.

Defense has to nut up and make this one ugly.

And we’re gonna have to find a way to run the ball.

Match them physically at the LOS. The key to every game.

We have to score points and prevent them from scoring more points than we do.

I have to admit the Alabama passing game is very nice. We have to be able to put long drives together to have a shot. It won’t hurt if Alabama has one of those sleepwalk games they seem to have once a month these days.

Utilize the middle of the field with our elite receivers, get Berry 15+ touches, and target Green every time we're in the redzone.

On defense, just play disciplined football. I also think West Weeks needs to see less time than he has been.

We have the talent. Just need Atkins to call a good game.

It would take a miracle, unless the players rally around the new leadership. Alabama has won 7 straight and has 2 starting wideouts coming back.

I don’t believe it’s out of the realm of possibility for LSU to beat Alabama. I believe LSU will be inspired and play really clean football due to the change and coaches.

24–21 LSU

On offense, lots of Harlem Berry, lots of slant passes either from Nuss or MVB over the middle to Aaron Anderson, lots of passes to TD Green over the middle, more Kyle Parker, and creative touches for Z. Thomas. All the other stuff to others guys hasn't really worked. Stick to what works with those guys and get creative in the red zone.

On D, mixing it up without being a 1-trick pony with the blitzing every down and play tight coverage with our DBs on 3rd down. Make Bama's QB fit it in a tight window.
