rousse stepped up to the podium and didnt say really anything, just had a shite eating grin because he knew his pal had fixed it so he was a shoe in, and I knew right there this dude wasnt chosen for any skill or expertise but just because of his friends.
Contrast that with the way Dalton spoke about his love of research and how he seemed genuinely interested and excited.
At least LSU got dalton as chancellor, though.

I don’t have any idea how things will turn out, but I was actually pleasantly surprised (in a good way) how quickly it all happened after last week’s chaos.
Again, no idea how everything plays out and if it’s a “good plan” or not, but it’s pretty clear to me there was indeed a plan in place here… This didn’t all happen over 2 weeks. Obviously remains to be seen if said plan works out or not.

Whether he ultimately serves as a good president or not is yet to be seen. But let's be clear, the only reason he is the president is because he is Landry and Landry's boosters' pawn. Thankfully, they also hired a seemingly legitimate chancellor.

I don't think anyone is rooting against LSU necessarily. More of an "I told you so" deal after the governor decided to stick his nose in and everyone was seemingly celebrating it.

I despise Jeff Landry, but I am willing to give this new regime (Rousse-Dalton--Verge) a chance at least. I have two degrees from LSU and season tickets to 4 sports at LSU. LSU is my alma mater and my team. I am not giving up on them.
